sigh....

Ok so after an embarrasingly long time, I have finally tracked down the (biggest) photometry problem - nothing like adding the wrong columns together boys and girls.

On a lighter note, had fun over the long weekend - being even longer due to taking Thurs and Fri off and Mon being Labour Day here:)
Thurs

  • Slowly recovering from very extensive fire damage so a little different to 4+ years ago. Lots of kangaroos though (70+)... and lizards ... and emus:)
    
  
  

Fri

• Out to BeorgWic - a Dark Ages medieval camp. LOTS of rain. Mud. Set stuff up, helped put up tarps and stood soggily in front of fires.
  

Sat

• On and off rain.
  
• Helped Z repair a (club) tent - my, tend to do that fairly often at events... Naalbinding, wool workshop, feast, fires... Z shifted rocks and finished base of forge. Observed somewhat drunk AAFers...
  

Sun

• Clear weather:)
  
• Awning, sewing, Z worked on bellows, twisted wire jewelery workshop - nice stuff... Z's fire starting workshop, feast, gloriously clear sky, more fires
  

Mon

• More clear weather - yay to not packing up wet tents.
  
• Z got forge going - made cloak pins and with the help of Arty Dave carving the soapstone mold, started casting up pewter Thor's Hammers:)
  
• Usual packup and left site ~5:30pm, home, unload, showers (mmm warm water and cleanliness) and sleep.
  

Tues

• Awakened by phone call at 5:30am... Joys of NZ daylight savings kicking in combined with time zone differences - grrrrr....
  
• Work...
