Op shopping and other things

stellar_muddleZ's cold appears to be waning... which is good appart from the fact that I may be starting with it in the waxing stage... Next few days may be entertaining.
There seem to be several things that always happen when op-shopping (2 Sallies and one GoodWill today).
If you go in search of a specific item, they wont have it. You need to be generally keeping an eye out for it for about 6 months (or a couple years depending on scarcity) and after you find one, you will see many more left right and center. If you haven't turned off your automatic "pounce on it" habit, you may stockpile in scary amounts.
If two of you go, with one of you needing certain things (eg shoes and trousers for Z), the other will find the perfect shoes and trousers... in their size.
You will find something which is great except for for one small thing which can be easily changed or tweaked eg a knee length flared leather skirt ... in green with 60s blue and purple lining ($8). We have black leather dye. Also found full leather shoes with full welt construction and heavy sole leather sole and heel - barely worn but stiff and brown ($10). Again, we have black leather dye :)
There will probably be a leather dying fest this afternoon, after Z has conquered the stack of dirty dishes. For some odd reason loud heavy rock Tuvan throat singing music seems to help this.
General house cleaning time I think. Goes with the music.
