If you are going to play silly buggers wrt companies, wait til you have already gotten the 1 year (rebate on one months charges), then if you really must, change.
But don't take the card in the first place.

A better way is to ask to be put on the company's DNC (do not contact) list; otherwise you will just be visited by the same company 3-5 months later when they are recanvassing your area. Same for phone marketers.
