About 5 cubic meters... They very carefully wrapped and bundled - I must get a photo. So, yes, Pack and Send. Did same day quote and pickup, ~$1800 for ~5 cubic meters of very dense stuff (there is a lot of books and wood and iron there) from Canberra to Adelaide (4 days) and now it is all wrapped up on 3 pallets in the garage. You may get additional comments based on condition but looks good so far.*
Yay to a full bed:) And boooooooks....
Time to start unwrapping, shifting and sorting what I can. Sorta like Christmas only not...

basal_surge, the next time you store the chainmail links bag in a box, can you lable it. I was wondering why the shoes had gotten so dense...
Edit*: 2 and a half hours later and I think I have gotten down to the stage where anything left is a single item too large/heavy for me to shift and/or safe in the garage. I may have the energy to assemble the bed tomorrow...
* Looks good now, though I am uncertain about the number of rolls of leather there should be.
