Rental application faxed off early on Tues morning.
Place offered to us before lunch time that day.
Paperwork signed and money changed hands this morning.
I get to collect keys etc on Fri while Z plays "dig here" locally.
We have possession of the place as of Sat...
Which is just as well, as Z gets to play "dig here" in more northern wastelands as of Mon for 2 weeks.
So, I think this weekend may be a little busy.
And in other news, made it to a local dance practice for the first time in a while. Was good, though I think my reprizza (?sp) muscles have atrophied. Would go for a wander outside to stretch them a bit, but it's nearly 34 degrees out and there are pieces of tree blowing past at high velocity (ok, about 30 km/h which would be ok appart from the drop tree effect). Discussions of fudge recipes haven't helped but the outside temperature is a definite disincentive. It doesn't help that it just looks like an overcast windy day out. No clues to the air temperature outside until you turn the cold tap and warm water comes out.
