And so we are now in Brisbane. And have been for about 5 days.

And now have net - fancy new swanky wireless modem card. Already had to go from 200Mb plan to 1Gb plan - yes, well keeping track of numbers...

Oddball notes:
When travelling in inlandish NSW follow your impulses to stop at the oddball museums and monuments. The Age of Fishes museum was very cool (yay to stranded devonian fish ponds and tank like fishies), as was the Rural museum with shed after shed after shed... But why a standing stone circle... Would have been better had they smoothed off the drilling/blasing holes.
Running into a random astronomer we knew in Cowra was also good. There was also real rainforest:) 1 small lizard, 6 emus, then a farm full, 1 kangaroo (who probably missed the back of the car by milliseconds). The occasional large black swoopy thing against city lit clouds that are probably fruit bats - wanna see more of those.
Why after a drought of several months have 3/5 of the days we have been here had (often very heavy) rain...?
It's slightly greener here.
BIIIIG city.
Now been civilised (as far as you can call myself and [livejournal.com profile] basal_surge civilised) for just over a year. But we sorta forgot the date (28 Aug???25 Aug - thanks guys:) - I knew it should be the Fri, in which case we were in Tenterfield that night) in amongst doing stuff. Opps. We'll do something civilised later - restaurant dinner or something...

Sleep now, more later...

But we are still alive:)

I think we have 4GB, and pay an extra $10 for another 5G if we go over, speed doesn't drop at all. I've been temped by wireless, that way I could surf while Craig plays Battlefield 2 on XBox live.

Our wireless we can't have multiple computers on, but can be used all over Brisbane, where ever there is a signal ie can be picked up and wandered with.
Z is currently amused by the red and blue flashy light (and arguing over colours and my spelling).
