There has to be a word for it in The Meaning of Liff. That surreptitious lurking/loitering around the tea room after a function's formal lunch or tea, in search of free food. Especially when you know they have good caterers...

Yes, I have a perfectly good sandwich, but...

There's this competition run every year where you can make a new word by adding/substituting one letter in an existing word, and invent a meaning. Such as:

reintarnation: Coming back to life as a hillbilly.

Now I'm sure there's one for lunch room surfing but it just won't come to me.

We just have lots of leftover chocolate - at the momment I am trying to get people to take away the milk chocolate component from the tea rooms, but it is fairly slow. We are of course keeping the good dark ones...
