Nov. 30th, 2008 01:56 pmIt appears I don't loathe gardening as much as long as the weedwhacker is starting ok and I don't have a deadline of a rental inspection to work to.
Grass at the house level and above has been pureed down to a more reasonable height, another back bed and wall has been tidied a bit, and the lemon and gooseberry? up the back are a little less crowded by grass. And the huge grass piles have been raked into appropriate places.
I would contemplate doing more but the itchy sensation on exposed areas makes me think it is time to stop, have a shower and wash hair.
Making a jug of straight chai tea and keeping it in the fridge and using it with the lemon cordial works really nicely.
Breakfast was round 11am. Trying to work out if lunch is a good idea. Dinner will be earlier than usual and BIG...
Edit: And at some point during the proceedings, the right knee on my jeans developed a hole. Wonder when that happened? Mind you, they are about 10 years old. Will definitely keep them for gardening now.
