Of the weekend and other diverse matters

stellar_muddleGood weekend, with a cocktail party (drunken astronomers, but an excuse to dress up:), BBQ (some hungover astronomers and some very nice food and company), Kaos party (more a drinkies but good conversation, pity about the smoke though) and general cleaning, laundry and lazing around. Found an rectangular embroidery frame at Revolve for $3:). Now just need to draw out and set up the embroidery. Doesn't travel in buses as easily as the ring, but a trifle more period.
The Bob collection has evolved slightly. There was a Hallway Bob who liked living above the toilet door for a while, but he disappeared. Then while cleaning I discovered Bob legs sticking out from under a bamboo stick. Oops, casualty of falling furniture I thought, and got Z to take care of the body. Only it wasn't a corpse, it was half a Bob skin - the front half. Kinda cool but still hairy. Then you realize this means there is now a new shiny bigger Bob wandering around... Sure enough, found on the lounge wall. Don't know where he has gotten to now.
