Busy weekend
Aug. 9th, 2010 12:15 amMuch shopping. Some buying.
Sat: Window shopping. For windows, there being about 3 we want for our place - two replacements for the back porch and one new for the ex-sun-room/"4th bedroom". Didn't find anything quite right size, though the magnificent arched stained-glass one was drooled over - wouldn't go with our place and we couldn't exactly spare the thousand dollars. But it was very cool. The random second hand clothing store netted me a nice skirt, but Z no trousers though. Had brains warped by the second half of Paranoia Agent.
Sun. Yum Char. No trousers again. Bits of a window. Tents/canvas. Chainsaw (borrowing, after wood lootage out of the riverbed). Z found trousers. Happy Z. Last of the sunshine and got the laundry in before the southerly came back. Dinner then much sitting watching Time Team while sewing. Finally returning to the blackworked chemise started in 2003. Might actually finish it this year.
