What to do?

Watched the first part of the Richard Dawkins doco "The root of all evil" last night. Interesting though typically TVish in the usual shallow way (Sydney Morning Herald article here). Debating whether it is worth reading "The God Delusion" now or whether I am better off getting back to "The Ancestor's Tale", which I stalled on round Eve's Tale. It would be useful to read more biology stuff but I get distracted away from it really easily. Whereas I can probably focus on what is being discussed in "The God Delusion" better, but I am more likely just to be agreeing with things I already know (based on the doco).

Finally got around to updating some stuff on librarything. Took a while to remember passwords and account names - yes we do have 4 (~600+ books) rather than 3 (~400+ books). We appear to have acquired at least 30 books over the past 6 months. Mainly fiction, though a few exceptions.

Veil and linen band are now sewn, though I may do another veil in the same shape but linen as the silk is a little on the old and fragile side. Should get onto the final pinning and hemming of the bliaut soon. And redo the laces a bit shorter since really don't need that much for spiral lacing.

So, next project? Finish putting gores back on Z blue linen tunic so he has a spare light weight one for mucking about it. There is also a cloak in the middle of being fringed at the ends (doco Migration Era, Evebo Jarl, but close enough and looks good) but that is good for hauling over you in front of the TV in the evenings. Not certain after that. Z trousers maybe - always needs trousers? Revisit Z's black velevet Sture doublet and actually get onto refitting it for me - have after all finished the shirt to go with it? Use some of the blue wool (same as bliaut) to make a couple mundane full circle skirts cause it drapes so well? Get back to the Victorian underwear and just finish that chemise by hand? Fitted 14th C cottehardie? Another Viking jacket? Finish that sun dress from a couple years ago? Finish the blackworked chess board for Z from about 6 years ago - supposed to be a 1 year anniversaty present? Finish that trichnopoly for the chain for Z - birthday present for last year...?

Possibly should be good and get onto some of those "finish" ones... Might even actually finish one.
