Things of Beauty

The piano and violin piece of music just finished on the radio (Spiegel im Spiegel by ?). Now onto One Fine Day from Madame Butterfly.

The Russian pair ice skaters who won gold last night. That just looked so effortless and flowed with the music and then you realise that was a controlled hold and descent using one arm on his behalf and that there are serious muscles and control behind that. And the chinese woman whe fell on the first jump of the free pairs routine and came back to complete the routine and still win silver, despite obvious knee issues and pain.

I have yet to ever recieve anything for Valentine's Day. I have however, at various times recieved random spontaneous handpicked flowers including a single red rosebud with a scent you could float on for hours. I know which I prefer...:)

Things of beauty continued

For the past 2050 min the thunderstorm wombling by has produced lightning about every 5-10 seconds. Fairly high up as it is mostly sheet lightning with the occasional forked strike rumbling through. We seem to be missing the moderate to heavy rainfall that goes with it, although just to the south may not be. Looks cool on the radar too.
