Eurovision time...

stellar_muddleWell, the choices are the Bill, boring murder mystery, Crocodile Dundee, AFL or Eurovision semifinals.
Eurovision traincrash wins....
So far:
*Bulgaria: not bad - distinct. Drumming and odd chainmail and leather. Cool voice with a few quirks. Good start.
Isreal: different - psuedopunk about bombs...
Cyprus: Blah.
Belarus: black and slinky suits, pity about the music
Iceland: Rock? Decaying black leather clad rockers at least, but not music wise.
~*Georgia: Not bad, actual music and male dancers with weaponry. Not stuck in the 80s.
Montenegro: Boy singer. Bah. Too tan.
*Switzerland: Vampires!!! BLack leather/PVC and angst and bad music! Perky vampires...
Moldova: Nightwishish but not quite there. Strange bead and fabric placement.
The Netherlands: Pedestal. Pedestrian.
Alabania: More interesting music. Scary beads and train.
*Denmark: Yay drag queen with costume changes. And feathers! Music naff though.
Croatia: Made it to the late 80s at least.
Poland: Chicks in cage and very bad music. Definite arse dancing.
*Serbia: Women in suits. Nice singer - good change from the prancing teens. Scary 70s hair on the lurkers/backers.
Czech republic: Achieved the 90s or at least heavyish metal. Pity about the gravelly voices.
Portugal: Pop and fans. Nah.
Macedonia: Not bad but not memorable. Less of a budget blowout on ridiculous clothing.
Norway: Nah. Rag bustle and miniskirt? Quick costume change(s) though.
Malta: More fans. Topless violinist... Wonder where they hide the wind machines. Certainly isn't the fans...
*Andorra: And we reach the 21st century. Not a style I would normally go for but not bad.
*Hungary: Blues. Gorgeous voice.
Estonia: Black and sinuous. Meh.
*Belgium: Disco argh! Scary. But not bland.
Slovenia: Interesting costume and impressive operatic voice. Song a bit ..eght.
Turkey: Greasy with a different form of arse dancer. Brass anti-bras.
Austria: Sparkly silver and red feathers. Snort.
Latvia: Top hats and opera/boyband pop.
* I vaguely hope get through. Some just for torture purposes.
The previews for the countries that got through to the finals automatically are "interesting"...
Finalists: Belarus :(, Macedonia, Slovenia, Hungary :), Georgia :), Latvia, Serbia :), Bulgaria :), Turkey :(, Moldova
This plus alcohol and company would work well... I'll settle for chocolate. [~9:30pm and around Poland: I'd offer 5 points per band with shiney silver and 10 points for one with black leather. -3 for other coloured leather. But started scoring too far in to remember... Would be a dangerous drinking game.]
