Check out The Sutlers Stores, specifically things like their PRE-REVOLUTIONARY ARMY/NAPOLEONIC PERIOD clothing. Expensive, but not really suprising. What I really want to know is how you make a pattern for the basic regency cloak, British Greatcoat Napoleonic Period, (especially drool drool drool) 18th & 19th Century Triple Cape Coat, and just maybe the 95th Rifles Officers Tunic, and get hold of the "black russian lace" used in the military frogging. The ladies wear isn't nearly as nice (I don't think there were that many saloon girls), but I wouldn't say no to the Ladies Military style Dress.
Time to stop drooling, post stuff, grocery shop and get onto the undertunic. Having to adjust to 110cm wide fabric after having gotten used to getting a tunic out of 150cm wide linens. Wonder how fast I can hand sew this sucker...
