Ringing me at 6:30pm for the second night in a row, while I am in the middle of cooking dinner, will not endear me to you. Asking me whether I can spare 15 min to answer a few questions and find out about a possible new term deposit system, will result in me giving an honest answer*. And no, this doesn't mean I would be willing for you to phone back in the next few hours, tomorrow or indeed some time over the weekend. I might be willing in about 2-3 weeks time, but given my bloodsugar levels at this time of evening, I wouldn't guarantee it. Maybe if you asked me to check some written information in my own time, at my own pace, you might get a civil answer, but sorry to the poor sucker who got stuck with this for a job, Not Now.
I really should introduce a service charge for their use of my time. After all, they do.
