Double whammy hit dinosaurs. BOOOM, SPLAT, wheeeeee:)

We currently have a (big) Dining Room Bob, but there may be a nursery in the house as we found a Baby Bob in the lounge - only about 20 cent piece sized and slightly translucent - but it will grow...

And Virgin Blue is playing silly buggers with the flight back from WW. Don't want to go via Brisbane... Oh well - just as well that I hadn't managed to book the bus back yet. mutter mutter mutter...

Boom! Splat! Wheee!

Just as if you and Zane had planned it together.

Well....
If I can adjust the sun right, Zane can have his Ice Age, and it will be post-Apocalyptic snow mobiles for everyone...

That's nothing new there, we've known the Deccan Traps were going at that time for a while. I'm a bit sus about fitting them all in a thirty thousand year interval just via magnetic dating - the article didn't state which magnetic interval they found them to fit within, and its a bit difficult doing paleomag in the Cretaceous long normal. Radiometric dating says they came out in about half a million years, still plenty enough to stress the environment a lot.
