Paraphrasing an idea from Richard Feynman:
People should have ambitions to do something rather than to be something.

Gotta love some of Feynmen's quotes given in the Wikipedia article on him. Although it should be noted that the "Feynman Lectures on Physics" were not that accessable when reading them at the end of third year, after 3 years of physics... interesting but...
Edit: And the stuff I forgot first time around...
Out of porrige error due to forgetting to take the empty container home last night. There is enough left for about half a rosella...
I have a new watch! While on the phone to Mum and Dad on Mon (after 7:30pm), I checked my watch part way through to discover that apparently it was still 5:45pm. Hitting it on the edge of the sofa changed the seconds hand a little, but had not other discernable effect. And the little winding knob hadn't been nudged out and stopped things (learned that one before). So, while filling in time before a slighlty later bus, I wombled over to the Canberra centre and found exactly what I wanted. As an upgrade from Kmart $10 cheapie, I found a really nice silver coloured pendant watch. No flip up or out face-cover but still very cool.
