Home chemistry time
A set of 8 chai tea bath bombs is drying in the hot water cylinder cupboard. Thank you
alpha_angel for the cardamon. No vanilla essential oil, so mixed some of the almond oil with vanilla essence. Still seems to work. The remains were put in a bowl with hot water, fizzed wonderfully and I stuck my hands in for a while. Because while I trust most of the ingredients, I wanted to check just in case that my skin wouldn't react in some new and interesting way. And doing this to just my hands before my entire body seemed a good idea. Smelled not bad, but not strong... Will see how it works in a bath in a couple days. If these work, might experiment with other scents/combos (citrus, rose...), though may need more almond oil with slightly less than half the bottle left (I think, though I could be wrong).
While eating lunch with Mum in Midland Park today, had interesting noise combinations. The Salvation Army Brass band across the road was cool - traditional carols. Then the speakers behind started, advertising an upcoming Phoenix game (soccer, bah humbug), with Johnny Cash Ring of Fire amongst others. We then triangulated with the 3 kids with the 2 bagpipes and drums combo doing Scotland the Brave and Flower of Scotland etc. Is it bad that I am happy they beat out the soccer advertising? By this stage my brain/ears hurt and it was time to get back to work... Ah, the noise of Christmas...
One more sleep to go :)
