Mutter mutter Spotlight "cotton" drill. Bit too melty (well crispy after ironing) for me to trust that. So much for breathability. Oh well. Seams done and felled, next need to track down boning and do the eyelets.

did you wash it hot? I find that Spotlight is terrible about coating their fabrics in all sorts of plastic rubbish, and if it is going next to skin I wash cotton at sixty degrees a couple of times before I'm happy with it.

Unfortunately it was only cold washed*, so that may have been a contributing factor. Doesn't have the boning in yet, so may be worth a hot wash before the boning is sewn in. What with moving etc though, machine access may be a little entertaining. It wont actually be in contact with skin, so should be okish.

*Limited rain water supply, so didn't follow the usual hot wash habit and it went in with a normal cold dark load.
