Weekend
Nice and warm and sunny yesterday, then drizzle and rain today - they didn't forecast that...
General laundry and house tidying yesterday in time for a general lack of people (appart from![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
alpha_angel and S&T, and apologies from xenogram and dragonermine (later). Obviously just posting to LJ on a locked post wont get you very far advertising wise. Oh well. There was good conversation and munching. And I definitely think blackberry picking next weekend is a very good idea if the weather is good. Hopefully Cornish Street is still a good spot. Nice walk in any case.
Today was hasty bringing in of faintly damp laundry, then library* (mmmm, stack of books) and groceries, and general blobbing before oatmeal cookie** baking and TV in the evening.
Time for bed and one of the stack - only ~100 pages in presently. Z meanwhile is trapped by Rome...
* The local library card I had last used about a decade or more ago wasn't usable, but had enough ID for another one anyway. Think we only grabbed about 5 books each, which might last us til CF.
** Recipe for raisin oatmeal, but Z's aversion to raisins meant dried apple was used instead.
