The central train station is currently sporting adverts for Lynx (deodorant etc) using the phrase "Man Leather". Unfortunately all this conjours up is images of Cohen the Brabarian. Not a selling point...

Getting distracted by medieval music - discovered a very nice piece on an Italian album of medieval songs involving alcohol.

which is a 13th C motet from The Montpellier Codex. I find it rather cool that the Tenor line is a repeat of:

Fresh strawberries!

I have decanted the music to mp3 (now on USB stick so can inflict...), and can find part of the sheet music here, but apparently a subscription is required for the second page and printing :(
