Things of a slightly disturbing nature...

Lunch discussions at work today wombled around Go, Weeble and Bob (a bunch of people had just been introduced to it) and "Happy Tree Friends and Friends". In the later, the homicidal little aliens were kinda cool in a rather disturbing violent way, especially with the staple gun, but Happy Tree Friends was just right out the other side. The Happy Tree Friends episode called Eye Candy was very very very disturbing. Beat the flesh eating virus bit of the documentary from earlier in the evening - SBS was having an "interesting" line up.
Then there were the Huntsman spiders, collectively know as Bob eg Lounge Bob, Garage Bob and Anti-Bob (he was observed eating another Bob). I can even cope with Bedroom Bob hiding under a towel on the door - I wasn't awake enough to be startled. But seven legged Bob on the bedroom door AND another seven legged Bob on the wall above the bed, facing each other off is just a bit much. Zane made them Garden Bobs. Which is funny since it always used to me who would rescue Kerry from spiders... or spiders from Kerry, never worked out which way around it went:)
Tent timber is just about ready to try round 1 assembly. Eyelets on sides of the tent have been done, so this evening it is time to combine and see if it all goes together. There are still a bunch of things involving ropes and ties and square holes and leather tubes and pipe and waterproofing which still need to be done, but tonight we may see it in a tent like shape. As opposed to a bloody heavy pile of fabric and lots of poles.
Week and a half off work over the next two weeks (YAY!!!!), but may be somewhat busy.

I think this is the time of year for spider infestations. Out house is crawling with daddy long legs and we've found two white tails over the last couple of days. Ick blick. Worse is the mass of redbacks with eggs we found outside our house.
