A trend is beginning to emerge...
Unfortunately not with the astronomical data...
Last big storms Wellington had, Mum and Dad were down in Stewart Island. This time the lower North Island is getting wet wet wet... and they are in warm sunny Canberra where the lack of ominous clouds obviously correlates with the possible rain forecast for this afternoon... Ok, so it did actually rain yesterday, but still...
On the tourism front can now chalk up:
Academic Remainders - mmmmm books
National Gallery
Now I just need to find a decent group of Kangaroos roaming wild... Need morning, overcast weather, parkland and preferably a good spot to pull to the side of the road so that the driver can take all the photos he wants:)
I also need my brain to work - I suspect it is still back in the Blue Mountains...

- Black Mountain and Telstra Tower (nice views)
- National Botanical Gardens - lizards!!!
- National Zoo and Aquarium - Tigons and previous postings re wombats
- Blue Mountains
- Katoomba Falls
- Three Sisters - gorgeous sunset:)
- Steep railway - greater than 51 degree slope:)
- Jenolan Caves - especially the Orient Caves
- Katoomba Falls
