Well, -3 degrees at 7am this morning. -1 degree by the time of waiting for the bus in civic.
This has meant throwing another cloak on the bed. This brings the total to 1 cotton duvet, blue and black wool, cream and brown wool, another wool I can't remember the colour of (I think), grey herringbone, brown herringbone with tablet weaving half attached, brown wool with tablet weaving attached, brown wool pallium and now grey (mostly) wool half circle. Nice warm wools:) Should possibly get around to edging/finishing some of those, but they are kinda good where they are. If it gets any colder, I think the next resort is the pink silk... or some of the generic wool fabric in boxes and chests. Yay to large fabric stashes.
Didn't get to Spotlight this weekend for black cotton and lace etc (the less said about Lincraft which we did get to, the better), so no start on Victorian underwear. Instead I think tonight will be a woolen coif, lined in linen for sleeping in at medieval camping events and at home... Should only take this evening to hand sew. Since Z wants to hem some wool for a scarf, I expect it may be somewhat of a craft night at home:)
Weekend was spent cleaning and shopping and wine-ing and cheesing with astronomers on Sat and helping clean and garden on Sun. Sore back now. Was fun slaying plants and burning stuff, but the novelty of clearing and weeding paths wore off fast. Oh well - they have a tidier yard now.
Time to apply for the leave for Winter Weekend (ie get the paperwork out of the way) and get back to abundances.
