What have I been up to?

Been a while since posting here. Now I have to remember what I have been up to. Not that I have been posting that much to Facebook either as a clue...

In any case this week/weekend:
Much time spent listening to the rain. Some good rain. Plants are happier now.
Had two wisdom teeth out on Thurs afternoon. Generally fine, though a bit buggered on Fri so came home from work early and slept solidly from 3pm - 6pm... Picked the wrong time of year to do it with respect to morning teas though. At least strawberries (and raspberries) and icecream is a nice soft seasonal combo :)

There was an attempted drinkies on Sat evening, but only alpha_angel and qarl turned up - short notice and many other things on. Much talking and chocolate pudding with strawberries in any case. Must do more of the cinnamon schnapps/apple juice combo - mmmmm liquid apple pie.

Today has been spent listening to the rain and realising that it is one month til Taupo and one month and one week til CF. Then rustling through garb chests and working out what is intact, what needs fixing, and what new is needed. The main verdict is basic linen tunics (mine and Z) for mucking around and not overheating in. And lo, much brown and blue linen was found in the chests and piles, and the next stage is to cut that out and start sewing. But first need to work out dimensions etc. Not this evening though - work tomorrow means that mad project starting impulses which were lacking earlier in the evening should not be allowed to bounce out now.

So the project list at this point is only:
- finish 2nd naalbinded sock (just started the heel)
- finish alpha_angel's ruff (have dimensions now - just need to track down the linen)
- cut out 2 linen men's tunics - one my size, one basal_surge's size
- sew one linen tunic (my one)

Will be interesting to see how this works with only one free weekend left of the next month and a bit :)
