That boring bit of the day... the seminar has finished and the after-talk bikkies have been thoroughly scrounged and there is about 20 min left before you catch the bus and it just isn't quite worth starting something new work-wise...
I promised I would say why I was silly earlier...
Got off the Stromlo van in a good mood yesterday afternoon - models going well etc. Started towards bus stop to meet Z, cutting things about right to catch 5:05pm bus, then realised that needed to visit ATM - money is useful, so would need later bus. Reversed back past 3 shops, waited for lights (wait wait wait) and got onto traffic island in Northbourne. Brain clicked. No handbag. Handbag on floor in office. No handbag = no atm card = no money = no bus pass. Shit. 3 hour walk back home in the dark possible. Reversed, waited impatiently at lights back across Northbourne, ran round bloody great construction site blocking off road. High speed, to bus stop. Find Z. Big sigh of relief. Z has money for bus and a bus pass. Nice Z. Caught 5:05pm bus.
