Hours: Mon - Sat 7.30am - 4.30pm; Sun: 9.00am - 4.30pm

Trash Palace

Hours: Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm; Weekends: 9am-5pm

Siverstream Landfill WasteSmart Shop
24 Goodshed Road, Upper Hutt
Tuesday to Friday: 10am - 4pm; Saturday: 9am - 1pm

There is also The Waste Exchange, but I am not certain how useful that is to individuals or whether that is more aimed at businesses and community groups.

And there is Wellington Freecycle.
