And in a follow up to the third to last post on NASA editing

It would appear the politacal appointee who wanted to insert "theory" after every Big Bang mention and stiffle Climate change discussion, lied on his resume and has been removed from his public liason position at NASA.

George Deutsch Did Not Graduate From Texas A & M University (The Scientific Activist)

We wont mention that apparently certain PR elements had wanted a phrasing change to "stellar evolution" too...

Lets hope their job requirements for the next NASA public relations person actually include a (prefereably astronomical) science backround component. But given it will still be a political appointee...don't hold your breath.

That was lucky...

Just caught Fantasia on Greensleeves on the Radio and now it is a lineup of 4 Playford pieces, starting with Greensleeves:) Must be later Playford, since Over the Hills is not that early (mid 1700s? 1st version). Nice instrumental version - wonder what the dance (if there is one) is like?

Playford: 4 Playford Dances; Greensleeeves; Italian Rant; Over the Hills and Far away; Blackheath - Lautten Compagny Berlin Classics 0017842 2 5'33

Edit: The tune appeared in Playford's Dancing Master (1714) (cause there are a bunch of lyrics under there) )
