Why my neck isn't happy with me...

Top piece is the ruffle to be pleated onto the collar. It is not yet half done. It is the single black line that will do things in as I am following the threads in the linen on both sides of the fabric, which means really carefully lining up holes and double checking where the needle goes in and out. Yes I am mad.
The piece below it is the equivalent bit for one of the cuffs. It has the blackwork complete. Not looking forward to having to do the second one.
The bottom is the blackwork for the main bit of the collar. It is actually done. Yay to that. More detailed closeup below.


I think I might take a break from detail for a while and work on sleeves. Will have to get back to the collar at some time soon though.
Brains getting depressed by the evils of financial and biological slavery. Time for distractions I think.
